Customized Therapeutic Massage

60 minutes        $140

With each massage I combine a variety of different techniques to customize your massage after we have discussed your goals for the session. I may use any of the following:

• relaxation

• myofascial work

• trigger point therapy

• deep tissue

• sports massage 

• stretching

I may also use CBD oil or balm or other topical pain relievers where needed, and with consent. There are no extra charges for techniques or 'add-ons'!

Oncology Massage

Oncology massage is the modification of existing massage techniques to safely work with the complications of cancer and cancer treatment, even beyond treatment and recovery. 

 

The sessions are gentle  with a focus on comfort and relaxation to help clients get through the stress of cancer treatment and to provide some relief from the many side effects.

 

Some cancer treatments can require lifelong adjustments to massage, so it's important to work with a therapist who can work with these considerations.

The body of research on massage therapy and cancer is growing. Research suggests that massage therapy may be helpful for common symptoms and side effects of cancer and cancer treatment, including pain, anxiety, fatigue, nausea and depression.

Home visits

Please contact me to discuss. Generally I can make home visits if you have a massage table. If you are interested in regular in-home massage, I can suggest a reasonably priced table for you to buy and store in your home. I bring sheets and all other spplies. There is an extra charge for time and travel, depending on location.
